A scarce and handsome antique print of the old parish church of St. James or St. Nicholas at Weybridge – rebuilt as the present St. James in the 1840s. Below the image is a simple ground plan of the church. OWEN, Samuel, 1768-1857 : OATLANDS, FROM SHEPPERTON FERRY. London : Vernor, Hood & Sharpe; and W. Cooke, 1810. A charming antique print – a delicate etching offering a distant view of Oatlands at Weybridge (which survives somewhat altered as the Oatlands Park Hotel) as seen from the Thames at Shepperton.
