A scarce map of the county, originally engraved by Benjamin Baker, later to become principal engraver for the Ordnance Survey, for a series of county maps issued with the “Universal Magazine” between 1791 and 1797. A clearly engraved map of the county from the Admiralty engravers John & Charles Walker – on a scale of around three miles to the inch, particular attention being given to the newly built railways.
