[London : 1878 (or later)]. An antique print of the erstwhile country hamlet that stood at what is now the upper end of Lisson Grove. Engraved by John Greenaway and originally produced for the part-work “Old and New London” (London : 1873-1878).
Wood engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 104 x 144mm (approx. 4-1/8” x 5-5/8”). Text on verso. In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

London : Jones & Co., [1829]. A pleasant antique print – the western or Hanover Gate into Regent’s Park (near the London Central Mosque) as it was built by John Nash in 1822. Engraved by William Wallis (fl.1816-1855) from an original study by Thomas Hosmer Shepherd, the master recorder of nineteenth-century London. From Shepherd’s series “Metropolitan Improvements; or London in the Nineteenth Century” (London : 1827-1830).
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 99 x 145mm (approx. 3-7/8” x 5-3/4”). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 154/140.

London : Jones & Co., 1827. A very attractive antique print – a Pickford’s barge on the Grand Union Canal approaches the bridge (near the North Gate of the Park). Engraved by Robert Acon (1792-1880) from an original study (now in the Museum of London) by Thomas Hosmer Shepherd, the master recorder of nineteenth-century London. From Shepherd’s series “Metropolitan Improvements; or London in the Nineteenth Century” (London : 1827-1830).
Steel line engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 102 x 149mm (approx. 4” x 5-7/8”). Faint mark to lower margin, but otherwise in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 154/012.
