London : Simpkin & Marshall, [ca.1840]. A charming antique print – a view through the trees to the steps. Drawn and engraved by Thomas Barber (fl.1818-1840) and originally produced for his “Picturesque Illustrations of the Isle of Wight” (London : 1834) – and here in a slightly later state.
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 154 x 100mm (approx. 6” x 4”). A few small and faint marks to blank margins, but otherwise in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

Originally produced for Barber’s “Picturesque Illustrations of the Isle of Wight” (London : 1834) – and here in a slightly later state.
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 111 x 149mm (approx. 4-3/8” x 5-7/8”). A few tiny specks to outer blank margins, but otherwise in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
