BADESLADE, Thomas, fl.1717-1744 : A MAP OF LEICESTER SHIRE NORTH FROM LONDON. London : W. H. Toms, 1742 (or later). BAKER, Benjamin, 1766-1841 : LEICESTERSHIRE. London : Laurie & Whittle, 1806. A scarce map of the county, originally engraved by Benjamin Baker, later to become principal engraver for the Ordnance Survey, for a series of county maps issued with the “Universal Magazine” between 1791 and 1797. [MOULE, Thomas, 1784-1851] : LEICESTERSHIRE. [London : G. Virtue, 1831]. A fine antique map of the county, engraved in flamboyant style and decorated with coats of arms, a patterned border, hunting scenes in roundels, and inset views of Belvoir Castle, Ulverscroft Abbey and Donnington Castle. A fine antique map of the county originally engraved in flamboyant gothic style for the part-work “The English Counties Delineated” (1830-1837) prepared by the antiquary Thomas Moule. Decorated with coats of arms, a patterned border, hunting scenes in roundels, and inset views of Belvoir Castle, Ulverscroft Abbey and Donnington Castle.
