[London : George Virtue, 1841]. An attractive antique print – a view of the town from across the firth. Engraved by Charles Richardson (fl.1835-1842) from an original study by the well-known William Henry Bartlett. Originally produced for the part-work series “Ports, Harbours, Watering Places and Coast Scenery of Great Britain” (London : 1836-1842).
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 134 x 192mm (approx. 5-1/4” x 7-1/2”). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

[London : George Virtue, 1840]. A handsome antique print – a view of the harbour with the town beyond. Engraved by Elias Benjamin (1805?-1854) from an original study by the well-known William Henry Bartlett. Originally produced for the part-work series “Ports, Harbours, Watering Places and Coast Scenery of Great Britain” (London : 1836-1842).
Steel line engraving on paper. Later hand colour. Engraved surface 142 x 182mm (approx. 5-5/8” x 7-1/8”). A few tiny spots and specks, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

Engraved by Andrew Thom (fl.1845-1860) from an original study by A. Fleming. Originally produced for “Scotland Illustrated” (1845) and here in a slightly later impression.
