WOOLF, Virginia (Adeline Virginia), 1882-1941 : THE VOYAGE OUT.

WOOLF, Virginia (Adeline Virginia), 1882-1941 : THE VOYAGE OUT.

London : Duckworth & Co., (1920). First American edition : the London issue of the American sheets. Her first book, originally published in 1915 but very extensively revised for the 1920 New York edition. Beyond the somewhat limited issue of these sheets supplied to Duckworth by the George H. Doran Company in 1920 and again in 1927, this textually highly significant version of the novel has never appeared in this country.
Crown 8vo (20cm). (376)pp – excluding integral endpapers. Original green cloth, ruled and lettered in black; some light wear at head and tail; faint marking to upper cover; endpapers slightly cracked and a little tanned; mild and faint discolouration to outer margin almost throughout; a good copy of an important text.

WOOLF, Virginia (Adeline Virginia), 1882-1941 : KEW GARDENS.

[London] : Hogarth Press, 1927. Third edition : limited to 500 numbered copies. Crown 4to (27cm). [48]pp. Illustrations and decorations throughout.
