[London : W. S. Orr, 1837]. A charming antique print depicting what was then the still unfinished Palace, begun in the 1820s by John Nash and completed by Edward Blore. The view includes groups both of tourists and of guardsmen, some on horseback, as well as the Marble Arch, originally designed to stand in front of the Palace but later moved to its present position. Engraved by John Woods (fl.1835-1855) from a study by Hablot Knight Browne ("Phiz") which was in turn based on a sketch by Robert Garland. Originally produced for Wood's "History of London : Illustrated by Views", first published in parts 1837-1838 and subsequently reissued in various guises between 1838 and 1862.

[London : W. S. Orr, 1837]. A fine antique print of what is now the North Section of the Docks (between West India Quay and Canary Wharf). Tall-masted ships, smaller craft and the warehouses beyond. Engraved by John Woods (fl.1835-1855) from a composite study by Francis William Topham and Robert Garland. Originally produced for Wood's "History of London : Illustrated by Views", first published in parts 1837-1838.
