Loosely inserted is a contemporary autograph postcard to the late Barry Bloomfield (Auden’s bibliographer), signed with forename by the publisher, John Fuller, with an enigmatic note – “can you keep mum?” – about an Auden notebook.
Post 8vo (21cm). Single white sheet, printed in green and black, folding to form three leaves; a very good copy in the original mailing envelope.

Loosely inserted is a short signed 1977 autograph note from the publisher, Peter Scupham. A sequence of fourteen poems “cataloguing the thoughts and affairs of the marvellous dog of the title”.
Demy 8vo (23cm). [16]pp. Original burnt orange wrappers, lettered and decorated on upper wrapper in blue; very good indeed in the original Mandeville Press mailing envelope – the envelope slightly soiled.

Loosely inserted is a single-page 1986 typed letter from the publisher, Anthony Baker, signed with forename, discussing the book’s production. A collection of eight poems, including “The Song of the Pie”, “Star Song”, etc.
