London : J. Stratford, 1807. An attractive antique print of the old church parish chutch of St. Peter & St. Paul at Grays, with Palmer’s School to one side. Engraved by John Francis Dauthemare (1781-1848) from an original study by the architect and draughtsman Edward Gyfford. Originally produced for James Stratford’s part-work series “London; Being an Accurate History and Description of the British Metropolis and its Neighbourhood ... by David Hughson” (1805-1810). “Hughson” was in fact the pseudonym of David Pugh.
Copper line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 107 x 167mm (approx. 4-1/4” x 6-5/8”). Slight marking to lower margin, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

Originally produced for James Stratford’s part-work series “London; Being an Accurate History and Description of the British Metropolis and its Neighbourhood ... by David Hughson” (London : 1805-1810). “Hughson” was in fact the pseudonym of David Pugh.
