[London : 1860]. An attractive antique print – a view of the Chalk Farm Tea Garden in its heyday, citizens at their ease in the grounds. Originally produced for Thomas Dugdale’s part-work survey published as “The Curiosities of Great Britain” or “England Delineated” in various formats between 1838 and 1860.
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 91 x 128mm (approx. 3-5/8” x 5”). A fw tiny specks, but otherwise in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.

A charming antique print – the cutting and the bridge – the sight of an early railway train attracting an audience – the Round House beyond. Engraved by the young Joseph Fussell and originally produced for the part-work “Select Illustrated Topography of Thirty Miles Round London” (London : 1837-1838).
Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 110 x 151mm (approx. 4-1/4” x 5-7/8”). A few very faint marks to blank margins, but overall in very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print. Adams 190/032.
